From July until September the humpback migration takes place in the waters of Isle St Marie in Madagascar. Here you can charter a private boat and cruise the islands on your own itinerary in search of these magnificent mammals while enjoying the reefs and sandy beaches.

Seas can be a little challenging with the rains, choppy conditions, currents and temperature and the visibility does drop to 10-25m, but the diving is unforgettable.
Marine life at this time includes schooling hammerheads, whale sharks and manta rays along with the 27 endemic species found only in this remote location.
