8 luxurious and spacious Ocean Villas have been designed by focusing on privacy and sustainability. Each villa is built over the sea, offering an open space and direct access to the ocean. On the same time each villa is located on white sandy beach, with mangroves and rainforest trees as it backyard.
Accommodation
All Ocean Villas have spacious 72 square meters and are built on stilts over the ocean with direct water access.Each Ocean Villa is air-conditioned, has a Balinese-Style open-air bathroom with hot and cold freshwater showers and a large deck facing the ocean as a resting area. All eight luxurious Ocean Villas are meticulously crafted for both privacy and sustainability, seamlessly integrating into the island's natural beauty. Positioned along the pristine sandy beach, nestled amidst mangroves and rainforest trees, the villas are generously spaced to ensure heightened privacy. Each villa boasts ample space and excellent ventilation and is equipped with independent air-conditioning units, hot and cold freshwater showers, as well as handcrafted furniture and fixtures.
Restaurant
The restaurant and lounge area is built on stilts and extends over the sea. Enjoy magnificent ocean views from all angles and watch colorful reef fish, baby sharks and stingrays swim by. With Indonesian specialties complemented with international cuisine, we invite you to indulge with all your senses. The relax area of the restaurant, equipped with comfortable couches and coffee tables, all handcrafted and unique from sustainable materials, is open to the guests all day. It is the ideal spot to enjoy a cup of tea, coffee, or a fruit cocktail while gazing at the ocean and the little black tip reef sharks swimming by. Meals are served three times a day. Afternoon tea is served with fresh baked delicacies. Coffee, tea, and fresh fruit are available to our guests any time of the day. We are in the heart of the Coral Triangle, which is recognized as the global centre of marine biodiversity, and the reefs surrounding Kusu Island are virtually untouched and bristling with marine life.
Although Kusu Island is secluded and off the beaten track with no crowds, noise or traffic, it is easily accessible. You’re able to reach us by flight from Jakarta, Makassar and Manado, followed by a short relaxing boat ride to our resort. Here, your vacation will truly begin. The airport is only 1 hour away.
Kusu Island is located near the equator and is therefore a year-round destination.
Daytime temperatures are around 30°C (86°F) and water temperatures average 28°C (82°C). Weather and sea conditions are fairly constant throughout the year with a wet season in the months of November to March.

The resort doesn’t have a doctor on the island, but the resort have a nurse. The next doctor is situated in the hospital of Labuha.
Yes. Entry into Indonesia is free with a visa-on-arrival for most countries for 30 days.
The resort doesn’t have many mosquitoes and a prophylaxes is not mandatory. However, it is advisable to have the normal travel medication with you. Please also check with the appropriate authorities in your country. There is a mosquito net in every Ocean Villa as well as repellents.
