Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival Makassar (D)
Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar, meeting services. Afterwards, transfer directly to hotel with short city tour, visiting Fort Rotterdam the old Dutch fortress and Paotere Anchorage the Makassarese and Bugisnese boat harbor. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel
Day 2
Makassar – Maros Karst Tower - Sengkang (B,L, D)
After breakfast in your hotel, check-out. You will be pick up at 07.30am and escape from the hustle and bustle Makassar city, with an hour driving to Rammang-Rammang Village. The genuine smile of local people will greet you when you arrived at a small jetty. You will feel the cool breeze, when you jump into the traditional canoe and paddling through the Puteh River that surrounded by Karst Tower limestone cliffs and Nypa fruticans. After half an hour paddling, you will enjoy soft trekking soft trekking around Berua Village and witness the local people life. During a break in a local house, you will served with fried Banana and tea or coffee. After the break, paddle out of the village and enjoyed other soft trekking among Karst Tower or Limestone Park. Lunch en-route. Afterwards continue trip to Sengkang. Arrive in Sengkang drive directly to the Tempe Lake, change the car with a motorized canoe and cross the lake to visit some fishermen families who live on floating houses in the middle of the lake. Many birds of various kinds might follow your canoe and you might also have the chance to catch a beautiful sunset view over the lake. After a coffee & snack break at one of the floating houses, canoe ride back to Sengkang and check-in at your hotel and dinner.
Day 3
Sengkang - Toraja (BL, D)
After breakfast, check-out. Visit a traditional silk factory, where you can see the traditional spinning and weaving of silk material by Buginese women and take a time to go to hill, where you can see Sengkang city from the top. Afterwards transfer TorajaAfterwards transfer Toraja via Siwa and Palopo, passing through spectacular view along the road to Toraja. Lunch en route. In the afternoon arrive in Rantepao. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Toraja
NOTE: The water elevation in Lake Tempe will be low during the dry season. Not recommended to crossing the lake.
Day 4
Toraja : Lemo, Nongnongan, Londa, Karuaya, Kete Kesu (B, L, D)
After breakfast in your hotel, a full day exploring Tana Toraja. First you will visit Lemo to see rows of Tau Tau statues and the hanging graves. Later continue to discover the secrets of baby trees in Kambira. Onwards to Londa with its ancient tombs in which the deceased was not buried, but placed among the rocks. Lunch (excluded) in a local restaurant in Rantepao. Onwards to Kete Kesu with a stop in Karuaya to enjoy the beautiful and typical Toraja panorama, From here we will continue with a short walk to Kete Kesu, one of the oldest Toraja villages. Here you still find two rows of the original village houses, the traditional ancestral houses of the Toraja people, Tongkonan, as well as traditional rice barns with colorful woodcarvings.
Day 5
Toraja : Batu Tumonga, Soft Trekking, Weaving Center (B, L, D)
After breakfast in your hotel, we will bring you to visit Timonbayo where we can enjoy the spectacular view of the megalith stones spread over the extensive rice fields. Then to a burial cave of Lokomata. From Lokomata, we continue our trip to Batutumonga where we will a have short trekking, enjoy the beautiful panorama and experience a moment of the unique Torajan life style. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Batutumonga. In the afternoon, we will visit Bori (the meghalith) then to Pallawa & Sa’dan Tubaranna, local Torajan villages known as the weaving center of Rantepao. Then back to the hotel for diner and overnight.
Day 6
Toraja - Makassar - Airport (B)
After breakfast in your hotel, check-out. Transfer back to Makassar. A coffee-break at Puncak Lakawan to enjoy the spectacular view. Lunch will be served at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare. Afterwards, transfer directly to Hasanuddin Airport Makassar to catch the flight for your next destination.

Hotels in Sulawesi are far from international standard as well as its service. Especially simple accommodation out of city- Regency, on some accommodation client can stay in Local people house with mattress in the floor and sharing bathroom with own house - squat toilet. Some Accommodation didn’t have Wi-Fi and AirCO. Size of Bed of Every Hotel is Diffrent (Mostly they only have Queen Size Bed) Mostly all is Hotel is old, Not renovation, very really simple accommodation, with simple breakfast
